About
Hello, I’m Louise
I have worked in the creative industry now for 15+ years, after graduating with a first class degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. From greeting card art and children’s book illustration, to content and creative direction, my passion is bringing colour, a detailed touch, and a sense of story to everything I make.
I work from a studio in Norfolk, and I’m available for illustration commissions — editorial, greeting cards, licensing and surface pattern, and artwork for brands. Years of illustrating picture books taught me how to carry a whole story in a single image — the skill I now bring to a greeting card, an editorial piece or a single spot illustration. I’m always glad to hear about a new project.

My Approach
Work
I create detailed, colourful illustrations – from children’s books and greeting cards to editorial and wall art. I work digitally in Photoshop and Procreate, combining hand-drawn and painted elements with texture to build each piece. Alongside illustration, I work with brands and organisations on content creation, design, and digital communications, bringing the same warmth and close attention to every project.
Experience
Over the past 15+ years I’ve worked with publishers, retailers, and household brands including HarperCollins, Hallmark, the National Trust, and Crayola – as well as wellness organisations, independent businesses, and the occasional band. No two briefs are the same, and that’s exactly how I like it!
